As a bride, it can be a challenge to find the right dress and stay in budget. One of the key factors that creates this challenge is the emotional attachment that you have when you find the “ONE!” A few things to keep in mind.
- Treat your wedding dress like all big purchases, thus do your research.
- Invite a good, honest friend or your Wedding Coordinator that will keep you focused into this process by establishing the following: general style, color, feel, fabric and price. This process can include looking at Bridal magazines and attending Bridal Expos.
- Research bridal shops and, or boutiques that offer what you want within budget. This means contacting the establishment before you visit to ensure that you will find what you need. This also allows you to discuss what you want with someone to prepare for the actual visit to the establishment.
- Avoid “looking” for a wedding dress without any direction, as this may cause you to go over budget or frustrate you in your search for the “ONE!”
