Please describe your business and why or how you began. Yours For Your Day provides eclectic event rentals specializing in vintage furniture, rustic decor, and architectural salvaged details. Their collection of rental items are perfect for those individuals seeking unique and one-of-a-kind details for their weddings, parties, and corporate events. Shortly after resigning from a corporate position in sales to spend more time with her family, owner Shelley Hall was bitten by the entrepreneurial bug! It was about that same time that Shelley, her husband Warren, and several other family members developed a passion for collecting old cast-off furniture and transforming it into something beautiful again. That passion quickly morphed into a desire to share their love of anything vintage, salvaged, and rustic with others who wanted to add all of those same details to their life celebrations.
Describe one new trend that you have incorporated within your product and, or service offering? While often described as a trend, the entire Yours For Your Day collection caters to the vintage and eclectic themed event, which in actuality, is a truly timeless theme. Those specific details that speak to time-worn beauty and time-tested quality have been incorporated into the collection; what’s old is new again! It’s about giving clients the options to seat guests in something unique, display a cake on a stunning piece of vintage furniture, or bring the indoors to outdoor events through the use of lounge furniture grouped under a gorgeous old tree draped in lights or a fantastic chandelier. It’s also about providing good old fashioned personable customer service, rather than leaving clients to fend for themselves through an online shopping/booking experience!
